Anti wrinkle treatment
Anti wrinkle treatements can be used to relax the muscles that create deep lines and wrinkles such as across the forehead and between and around the eyes. Each area is considered and treated individually and can be in isolation or one or more areas can be treated at the same time.
It is a series of small injections that are usually well tolerated. Some redness and bruising may occur but this usually resolves with in a few hours. Most people can return to work the same day. Anti wrinkle treatments usually takes up to two weeks to fully take effect but most people notice a difference in the first week. It lasts between 3 to 4 months and can be repeated after 12 weeks and adjustments can be made as to how much you have and the effect you would like.

Where can toxin be used?
Toxin has been used for many years both medically and aesthetically and can be used in the face and jaw. It can also be used to stop excessive sweating in the under arms and hands.
When will I see results
Most people will notice a difference on or after day 5 but optimum results can be seen after and reviewed in two weeks.
How long does toxin last?
It lasts between three to four months but it is different from person to person.
Does it hurt
As it is a series of small injections it has some discomfort but is usually well tolerated by most people.
Other toxin treatments
Toxin can be used for many treatments such as teeth grinding and Hyperhidrosis. It can also be used to treat the lines that appear later on in life on your neck, this is often referred to as Nefertiti neck lift. By reducing muscle moveement muscles begin to slim and stop lines forming. Hyperhidrosis is very successful treated with toxin and can releave to difficult symptoms of excessive sweating. Toxin can also be injected into the upper lip to give a fuller appearence which is known as a lip flip. The corners of the mouth often start to downturn as we age and these muscles that pull the mouth down can be injected to reduce this.
Masseter treatment involves injections into the large muscle that helps you chew or grind your teeth.
To reduce sweating under the arms it is important not to wear deodorant 24 hours before your appointment and to shave the area as well. Lots of small injections are given to the area which helps significantly to reduce sweating in this area.
When injection into the neck a lot of small injections are given along the lines of the neck to relax these muscles.
Small injections can be added to the upper lip to help 'flip' the top lip which helps enhance its fullness.
